(בבלי) is a neighborhood
of Tel Aviv
, named after the Babylonian Talmud
, and located next to the Yarkon Park
. It was founded in 1957 and developed rapidly over the 1970's and 1980's. Due to its proximity to the city center and the park, it is considered a mostly upper middle class
neighborhood, with a majority of older couples and families living within the area.
The Giv'at Amal Bet neighborhood, south of Bavli, is often considered to be part of Bavli.
