Asynclitic birth

An asynclitic birth refers to the position of a baby in the uterus such that the head is tilted to the side. Most asynclitism corrects spontaneously in the progress of normal labor. Persistence of asynclitism is usually a signal of other problems with dysctocia (abnormal labor).
