Porto Brandão is a locality in the parish of
Caparica, the municipality of
Almada and the district of
Setubal,
Portugal. With an excellent strategic location, it is situated by the
Tejo river and serves several industrial routes with a part of
Trafaria.

History
Since the ancient period, the locality at the south bank of the Tejo and featured the passage bridge. The Romans and the Arabs settled the small port of Tejo up to the end of the main road. Locally it separated Lisbon by a river and constructed boats with various kinds.
