Apthoroblattina

Apthoroblattina

Apthoroblattina is an extinct genus of primitive cockroach-like Blattopterans from the Permian Period, and probably the largest insect of its day. It was of general cockroach-like build, but with a length of approximately 50 cm (1 ft 8 in) it was almost six times as long as the longest modern cockroach.
