Anwar Babikir (أنور بابكر) is a defender. He joined Al-Merrikh in 2006 after one year contract of transfer from the famous Qatari first section football team Al-Sadd. Anwar had a very good start with Al-Merrikh when he played his best games ever against the Amicale Sportive des Employés de Commerce (ASEC), an Ivorian football club and Ismaily of Egypt in the ceremonies held in Sudan for the occasion of the 50th anniversary of the Confederation of African Football in February 2006.
