He finished seventh at the 2001 Summer Universiade and eighth at the 2003 Summer Universiade. He also competed at the 2005 World Championships and the 2006 European Championships without reaching the final.

His personal best throw is 80.56 metres, achieved in June 2006 in Minsk.
