Andrea Petkovic

Andrea Petkovic (born September 9, 1987 in Tuzla, Yugoslavia) is a professional tennis player from Germany. She is living in Griesheim near Darmstadt, Germany. As of December 13, 2007, Petkovic reached her career-high ranking singles of World Number 92 on September 17, 2007, but is ranked 93. As of December 13, 2007, Petkovic's highest doubles ranking was World Number 365 on August 13, 2007. While Andrea hasn't won any WTA titles, she has won 6 ITF singles titles and 2 ITF doubles titles. Petkovic became the German national champion in December 2007.

She is coached by her dad Zoran Petkovic, a former yugoslavian Davis Cup player, and first took the courts when she was 6. Petkovic attained a German passport in 2001.
