Amphitretus
Amphitretus is a genus of pelagic gelatinous octopuses. It is the sole genus of family Amphitretidae and consists of 2 species. Some authorities consider Amphitretus thielei as a subspecies of Amphitretus pelagicus, making this family monotypic.
