Americo Santos Jr was born on June 1, 1983 in Dallas, Texas. He is a Mexican-American professional boxer. Santos was first introduced to the world of boxing through his father Americo Sr. He thought the program would be great to help discipline his boys. At the age of nine, Americo Jr and his brother, Argenis joined the Dallas Pal Boxing Program.

Santos now trains at the Garland Police Boxing Gym located in the heart of Garland, Texas alongside with his father who is also his Head Coach.

Santos currently holds the WBC Latino Light Welterweight Title.
