Danziger was born in Boston, Massachusetts. He graduated from City College New York (CCNY) with a BS in Psychology in 1964. He has owned Three Ring Service, an entertainment company, since 1978. They provide entertainment for corporate events and parties. He recently participated in a documentary on The Texas Chain Saw Massacre, for the movie's DVD release.

Danziger's The Texas Chain Saw Massacre character Jerry is nondescript with few outwardly obvious defining characteristics, and is perhaps the most levelheaded in the van. Jerry is killed by Leatherface when he goes to look for his already dead friends Pam and Kirk. Jerry is the boyfriend of protagonist Sally.
