Achachamundu! Achachamundu! (2008) is a Tamil forthcoming film directed by Arun Vaidyanathan, starring Prasanna and Sneha in the lead roles. It began its first schedule on May, 2008.

Production

The film is being shot in New Jersey at several locations. For the first time in Indian cinema , Red One camera is being used for filming. Red One will be used for the first time in Indian cinema. This futuristic HD 4k resolution camera has only been used in a handful of Hollywood productions. Vouched for by directors like Peter Jackson and Steven Soderbergh, Red is the next generation technology that will combine both the quality of 35mm and the adept ability of digital editing/transfer systems.

This film is the first Tamil film to be completely rehearsed on location before the actual filming. Also this film holds the distinction to be the first Tamil film to be done completely in live sound.

The film will have an international film festival premiere, contending in the mainstream cinema category. This will also be another first for South Indian cinema.The Film is to be dubbed tentatively in Spanish, French, German, Creole, Mandarin, Mende / Temne, Arabic, Bangla, Burmese, Vietnamese, Srilankan, Urudu and to be released in 18 different Countries in a time span of 6 months from date of release.
