Abban of Kill-Abban (died
March 16,
620) was the abbot of the monastery of Kill-Abban. He was the nephew of
Saint Ibar, the son of Cormac, the
King of Leinster. He is often confounded with
Abban of Magheranoidhe. His
feast day is celebrated on
March 16 and
October 27. He is referenced in
The Lives of the Irish Saints and Martyrs and
The Lives of the Saints.
