On December 2, 2007, the Arkansas Razorbacks accepted the invitation to play in the AT&TCotton Bowl Classic against the Missouri Tigers. Arkansas would lose the Cotton Bowl against the Tigers with a score of 38–7 and the Razorbacks' overall record in the Cotton Bowl is 3-7-1.
