1992 Alabama Crimson Tide football team

The 1992 Alabama Crimson Tide football team represented the University of Alabama in the 1992 college football season. This was the team's third season under head coach Gene Stallings. They played their home games at both Bryant-Denny Stadium in Tuscaloosa, Alabama and Legion Field in Birmingham, Alabama.

They won their twentieth Southeastern Conference title by defeating the Florida Gators by the score of 28-21 on December 5 in the inaugural SEC Championship Game. The team then capped off the season by winning the 1992 football national championship. They defeated the Miami Hurricanes by a score of 34 to 13 in the 1993 Sugar Bowl on January 1, 1993.

The Alabama Crimson Tide celebrated 100 years of Alabama Football in the 1992 season.
