Tropidoclonion lineatum texanum

The Texas Lined Snake (Tropidoclonion lineatum texanum) is a species of non-venomous colubrid snake found in the south-central United States, primarily in the state of Texas. It is a relatively common, fossorial species, spending most of its time buried in leaf litter, and eating earthworms. They are typically olive green to dark brown in color, with a distinctive yellow or cream colored stripe down the center of their back. They have small heads, and small eyes.
